I tried but it doesn't work it give me in the numbering continuous and when I change it to restart each page it return back to 1 I don't know where is the problem

Try restart each section and type in the number 2.
You will need to have a section break before you do this. |

Sorry. It looks like I was mistaken. Apparently you can only restart footnotes at 1. At least that is the result I get.
However, you can set endnotes to be at the end of sections and they will start in each section at a designated number/letter. Here is a sample document. This is a user-to-user support forum. You can Give Feedback on Microsoft Word or other Microsoft Products (using their feedback mechanisms) |
