I don't understand how to remove the background color of this page. I've already tried using Design>Page Color, but it doesn't go away. What can I do. Thank you

Try highlighting the text, then clicking on the "paint bucket" tool in the Paragraph section of the Home ribbon. It looks like a light blue color is selected. Change to "No Color."

Given that it is only a few paragraphs that are shaded and not the entire page Design > Page Color clearly wouldn't apply.
To remove the background shading first select the shaded paragraphs then set the shading to No Color as shown in the screenshot below.

No, you did not do this before. You tried to change the Page Color, but the page doesn't have a background color. The shading has been applied directly to the paragraphs.

Press Ctrl+A to select the whole document.

OR

Place your cursor at the start of the text. Click and drag with left button of mouse until all text is selected.

The steps you need to take have been clearly shown to you and have been tested on the document that you provided. Either you’re not following the steps shown, or (unlikely) there is something else wrong with your document that you have not included in the document you provided.

Thanks for the link. I have checked your document, and it only contains paragraph shading which you have already been shown how to remove.

When you copy things from the internet, I suggest you paste them as text only.
