Default Text Boxes in Margins

Hi friends!

I have created a text box in the margin and then changed the formatting settings to my liking.

Every time I need a text box in the margin I simply copy and paste it in the right location.

I see a little anchor sign at the end of the first line of that paragraph, however, if I enter text before that paragraph the text box does not adjust its position downstream with the paragraph which is now moved. If it is indeed anchored why isn't it moving?

Thank you

Susan

P S off subject:

I create a podcast about every two weeks and I record the audio in audacity. I have found a utility to make my audio voiceover as if it was professionally done in a studio. And I wanted to share with the members of this forum:

Enhance Speech from Adobe | Free AI filter for cleaning up spoken audio
works absolutely awesome.
Hope some people here can benefit from it!

Consider using Frames instead of Text Boxes

Anchors for text boxes are highly configurable so the anchor position will always control the page the text box will be on but you will need to look at the position settings to get an idea of whether the text box is told to sit relative to the paragraph, page, margin, column etc.

If you click the border of the text box and then right click and choose 'More Layout Options' it will open a dialog where you can examine the various positioning options for the text box.
