Track changes side bar in TOC, but only for actual TOC changes
I am trying to determine if it is possible to update my TOC and have a change bar appear only for those TOC lines that have actually changed. Whether the line itself is an existing line that changed (new para#, new title, new pg#), or a new line in the TOC (added a new header-level paragraph to the document).
I assume the answer is: Since this is a form field, the whole field gets deleted/replaced, so the change bar runs the entire length of the multi-page TOC. For context, I added content to Ch5 Para 3, which pushed Para 4 down 1 page. No other paragraph headers changed pages. I also added Para8 to the end of Chapter 5. I really just want my TOC to look like this: Code:
5.3 New Content, Same Header .........pg 30 5.4 Now on new page ..................pg 31 | 5.5 Paragraph Heading ................pg 31 5.6 Paragraph Heading ............... pg 32 5.7 Next Paragraph Heading .......... pg 33 5.8 NEW Paragraph ................... pg 35 | |
