Although I chose 'one space' in Word's 'Options,' Speech Recognition dictations end up with two spaces between sentences.



It is an issue that needs to be put right with the 'Replace' function in every document.

I do hope that there is a proper solution to the problem. Surely, two spaces between sentences have been 'old hat' for some time.

The only option for one space that I know of is in the grammar checker. That does not influence the dictation function, which is far newer. Perhaps it should, but it does not.
If you have that checked in your grammar options, you should be showing a grammar error. You can replace two spaces with one using the replace feature.

I used it. Two spaces between sentences have not been required for about 20 years or more. So, presumably, lots of people used the feedback link without getting it changed to one space.
