Hi Freinds!
I am marking text for index entries and there are a lot. I would like in the final index an entry that is referencing to text in a footnote be marked as such. A regular index entry would be: egg salad....45 and text in a FN Chicken Salad .....(57) Thank you Susan |

You can display hidden text so that you see all the XE (index entry) fields. Then add a \t switch to the XE field and insert a cross-reference to the footnote number. When you are done, update the INDEX field.
