Hello,
I am trying to figure out why in the attached document, my heading2 numbered list jump to next page after several heading two have been inserted. DOCUMENT: https://www.msofficeforums.com/attac...1&d=1288078333 Basically my document has this structure: 1. Heading 1 1.2 Headling 2 1.3 Headling 2 1.3 Headling 2 1.4 Headling 2 1.5 Headling 2 Basically at one point all heading 2 will jump to next page (eventhough there would be space to leave the first 3 on page one below the first heading 1) leaving a huge gap below heading 1 on page one. The big gap appear below 'overview' 'basic information' and 'scope of work' Hope this make sense and sombody can help thanks Paul |

Heading 2 has 'Keep with next' checked.
The only way for all the Heading 2's (and the paragraph after the last Heading 2) to stay together is to break to a new page. |

Glad to help. Heading styles have 'keep with next' set because usually we dont want the Heading that introduces body paragraphs to be at the bottom of a page by itself. It is not common to multiple see Heading 2 paragraphs together without other paragraphs in between.
