glossary doc file - TAB space

I want to create a glossary.
term (TAB space) definition. when the term long split it to new line with out space.
How can I get result like in example number 2?

I don't want use table because there is a lot of terms and the file became very slow.
If there are any other suggestions I would love to hear.

A table is still you best bet. You can split the table into multiple tables if you want.
