How to get away with extra space when linking from excel to word?
I am used to link excel cells to word document through Past/ Past Special/Past link/Formatted Text(RTF). Sometimes(not always) in this process, an extra space is created and when I update the link all the text in the line the excel link is situated, jump to next immediate line. (see the attached picture. The Highlighted part). Can you guide me on how I can get away with this extra space?( I have attaced Excel file. I link from G column. I have this problem with cell (g12)) |

Your link is going into its own paragraph. That is the space you have highlighted.
When you insert a cell, I believe this is inevitable. (I do not know because I do not use this method.) With Mail Merge you could insert the content only as merge field. Mail merge using an Excel spreadsheet - Word |

@Charles Kenyon, thank you for your reply. I should work with "mail merge" feature for a while to see if it can does the job for me or not.
