I have created Style1 which starts the line at the left margin.
I have created Style2-FirstLine which indents the line from the left margin. The paragraph AFTER Style2-FirstLine is designated as Style1. 1) I now type a paragraph of text. 2) I then go back to the first line and identify the line as Style2-FirstLine. That style is Not invoked, UNLESS PRIOR to selecting the first line , I enter a carriage return (paragraph symbol) at the end of the first line. 3) Once the first line is accepted as Style2-FirstLine, I then have to select and mark the rest of the paragraph to invoke (set) Style1. Since the rest of the paragraph is AFTER Style2-FirstLine, and Style2-FirstLine designates that as being Style1, I was of he impression it would automatically be changed. --------------- QUESTIONS --------------- Am I typing (I type the entire paragraph first) AND using styles correctly (have Style1 set as following paragraph) or am I missing something? |
