How to correct tabbing order in Microsoft form with fillable fields? They go out of order when I use Protection in Developer tab. Without protection, there is no skipping and works fine. But the form needs to be protected.

Can you post a sample document?
Generally (in English versions of Word) the tabbing order flows left to right and top to bottom. You can fiddle this a bit by putting the fields/Content Controls into Table cells but the order of the tabbing follows the content flow.

Protection? Kind of protection used?
FormFields or Content Controls? In my experience, the tab order for formfields is in order of creation. It has been years, though, since I created any forms using them. |
