Default WORD Functionality works slowly

Hello
I have a 50 pages word document includes tables and text (not images or graphics) When I do simple things (like Save or change font or Select text) it is done after unusual time. It works slowly unusually.

What do you suggest make it faster? It seems to become very heavy, since I Copy/Paste texts from elsewhere.
Thank you very much.

If this happens with a particular document, only, try recreating it by copying all content, minus the final paragraph mark (¶), into a new, blank document.

To show/hide paragraph marks as well as other nonprinting marks, you can click the ¶ icon on the Home tab.
