Sentences are cut in half in merged document
When I create a merge as with our thank-you receipt letters, the document looks fine on screen. But when I send it to the printer every other sentence is cut in half. This only happens when I send the document to print on our Kyocera M6635 printer so the problem is apparently with the printer. For a while I could save the merged document as a PDF and it would print normally. But for some reason now even a PDF prints with sentences cut in half.
Any ideas? |

Change your paragraph's line spacing to something other than exact, i.e. automatic or multiple 1.14.

Thank you so much. Yes, line spacing was the problem. I tried several different settings and had similar problems. But what I ended up doing was copying all text, pasting into Notepad to remove any formatting, and then copying and pasting back into my Word document prior to doing the merge. This corrected the problem and I wouldn't have thought of doing it without being aware of the paragraph line spacing issue.
