Default forms calculation not entering/calculate upon exit

Hi - I have created a form in word that has a section that is set up as a calculation table. All of it works except for the last field, it will not calculate upon exit (the box is checked). For example I put in 10 and hit Tab - the curser goes to the next field (a text field) to be filled out but the 10 stays as typed - doesn't convert into currency and doesn't get added into the total at the bottom. I hope that makes sense. I have gone over the set up multiple times and I can't see what's wrong. The only way to get the last box to add in is to click on one of the other calculation boxes. This is a scholarship application so lots of fill in fields that all need to work without weird glitches .

Attached is an unprotected version. Its the 3rd box in Loans page 2.

Please help! Thanks!!

Your document contains a mix of content controls and formfields. Content controls and formfields were not designed to be used in the same document and trying to do so is a known source of problems. Delete the content controls and the formfields will calculate correctly.

I've looked at your form and have no explanation. I also tried deleting the problem field and copying the one from above it giving it the old bookmark name. Same thing happened with that.

Macropod - I would like to keep the underlining I have set in the content control in a few boxes.. Is there anyway to keep that or is getting rid of it all the only way to make it work? And is there a way to see what I have done in for content control without opening each one? Sorry - this is my 1st attempt at doing this so 100% self taught.

You will need to replace all your content controls with formfields. Underlining can be applied to formfields.
