Default [HELP] - Word Crashes A Lot

Good morning friends, I use Word most of the time on a regular basis. Basically, I work as a data encoder. But recently I have been experiencing a problem in Word that sometimes it crashes a lot. Computer crashing is a basic problem that most of the users face for the low configuration of the PC. But in my case, the problem is not having due to the low setup. I think it. So I can't identify what the actual reason for this issue. If anyone suggests, it would be helpful.

Have you tried running the Repair feature? If you go to Add or Remove Programs, and find your MS Word or MS Office (with 365 which I have, it's all under Office, but I can't remember prior versions) and run the repair option (under Modify).

Another question: Are the files that you're in when it crashes, actually Word files? And are they saved to the latest version? I ask this because I was recently having an Excel problem, and it turns out it was because a coworker had some files still in the Excel 97-2003 compatibility format. I haven't noticed the same problems since batch-updating them to the .xlsx current format. Also, a while ago I had to try to open a WordPerfect file, and Word tried to, but only recovered part of it, and then was kind of messed up until I ran a repair.
