Using bookmarks in a protected document
I want to protect a document so that I can use drop-down lists etc.
I have another program that uses a Word template to insert data using bookmarks. However, using a bookmark in a protected document does not allow the data to be entered (generating an error message in the other program). If I don’t protect the document, I can use the automatic data entry via the bookmarks, but then I lose the functionality of the form tools (drop-down lists etc.). Is there a way to have both the automated data entry (via bookmarks) and the use of the form tools? Thanks for any help. |
