Charles thanks so much for your reply.
Just to be clear.. I have no problem with the borders around the go around the entire text on the page. What annoys me to no end is line after line within my page. If I understand correctly, because I AM using Word 2019 the template for the work around is not expected to work and there's no way to switch those line off or even to invisible. Word 2019 can ONLY be used with random lines across each and every page. Do I understand correctly?
