put text in left margin of MS Word document
How do i put a small text in the left margin of a Word doc? I would like the text to go along with the specific line as i change the position of that line. The text in the margin is a reference to that specific sentence.
Any input is much appreciated! |

Another method is to create a style for margin notes that uses a frame to position the note in the margin. In the Modify Style dialog select Frame from the Format dropdown and edit the properties of the frame to suit. For example:
