Strange gaps in Word
Hi
I'm having an issue with a word document (attached) that I can't seem to fix. When I move the header 1.3 down to page 4, it jumps several lines down and those spaces can't be deleted. Can anyone done what I've done wrong here? Many thanks Nick |

The six empty paragraphs before heading 1.3 are in NB Head 2 style, which has Keep With Next applied. This results in all the paragraphs moving so that they stay together.

I suggest that you learn to use the shortcut Ctrl+* (Ctrl+Shift+8) to show non-printing characters. This is fundamental to understanding what is going on in a Word document.
