anyone knows how to get rid of the side panel on the right in 2010 word with ads and other links? it is annoying and take space on my already small screen.

Hmm, maybe you are seeing the Research pane. If it is, you can go to the Review tab and click Research to turn it off.

If that isn't it, you might need to be mroe specific about what you see in this pane.
