page color not printing correctly
I am using word 2019. I have a document where the page color is light yellow. This is the way it shows in the document. When I attempt to print it, the text is the only thing that shows the background color. How do I get the entire page to print in the background color? Jim B. |

The page color is only used for viewing. It does not print.
To have that color print, create a textbox in the background of your header(s) that has the shading you want. You can have the textbox either have a border of the same shade or no border. Size the textbox to fill your page, again, behind text. |

You can force Word to print background colors (and images) if you select that option at File > Options > Display. See the screen shot below.
