I am using word 2019. I have a document where the page color is light yellow. This is the way it shows in the document. When I attempt to print it, the text is the only thing that shows the background color. How do I get the entire page to print in the background color?

The page color is only used for viewing. It does not print.

To have that color print, create a textbox in the background of your header(s) that has the shading you want. You can have the textbox either have a border of the same shade or no border. Size the textbox to fill your page, again, behind text.

You can force Word to print background colors (and images) if you select that option at File > Options > Display. See the screen shot below.
