Hi I need help with the Bibliography and Citations. I am supposed to use APA7 but since there isn't one I was using APA6. Then to get the et al in text citations I was switching to Harvard. Then back again to APA to add the Bibliography at the end of the paper. Once I hit the Update Citations and Bibliography. Now whenever I try to switch between APA and Harvard it always changes both. Not a happy camper

Citation and Bibliography entries always use the same referencing system.

Using APA 6 in Word:
• citations with more than five authors employ the first name, then et al.
• bibliography entries with more than five authors employ the first six names, then '. . .' followed by the last name.
If that's not what you're getting, it's likely you're inputting them incorrectly. the correct input format is:
Author1, P J; Author2, J B; Author3, M M
where Author1, Author2, & Author3 are surnames and the letters following are their initials. Each entry is separated by a semi-colon.

Well, what can I say. That is not what mine was doing!
And it always printed out most all of the authors in all citations in APA. What do I have to change them all to static text to make them et al
That just won't cut it. got to be another way.
