How to make the word to adjust header automatically depending the orientation of the page?
I want to have different header for portrait and landscape page of Word Document. Since my routine work is such that I have to switch constantly between portrait and landscape pages, the usual way of defining different header for portrait and landscape pages (going to each portrait and landscape pages header and unlinking it from previous page and…) is very tedious for me. Is there a way to automate this process and make the word to adjust header automatically depending the orientation of the page?

Which changes do you need in the header and/or footer between portrait and landscape pages?

Look into using Alignment Tabs. That is their purpose.

@ Stefan Blom. In the header, I have some pictures and drawing tolls (text boxes, etc.) which I want to have their margin automatically updated when switching between portrait and landscape pages( see the attachment “header”, when going form page 3 to page 4, the text box text has gone out of page limit and is not visible)

You have two objects in the header. Both are floating graphics but their positioning is not set correctly.
First, the graphic's grey splash needs to be long enough to bleed off the right side of the page on the landscape page. At the moment it bleeds off the right on a portrait page but is too short if positioned the same way on landscape. Once you have the graphic fixed, you need to look at its positioning and align it to the Left of the Page. Then with the text box, you want to change its position to the Right of the Page. Then you can use Same as Previous for those headers and the text box will automatically position itself relative to the right side of the page regardless of the page width.
