Default Toggle Yes/No Checkbox

Dear members,

This is my very first post in this forum. I am in the process of creating a table which will contain Checkbox Content Control for Yes and No and will have some text for which the option is going to be chosen. However, when I have both the boxes besides each other, both boxes can be Checked and Unchecked at the same time.
What I would want to do is to Group them such that only one box can be checked at any point in time. If I Click Yes, the Yes box should be Checked and if I click the No option, the No should be checked and Yes should be automatically Unchecked. I have attached the current possibility as an image to this post. I am unable to do this and I would request this Forum to provide some solution on how this can be achieved.

I thank each and every member of this Forum who reads this post and also spend their valuable time to provide a solution for me. Thanks in advance for your support.

Thanks,
ragav_in

The Content Control checkbox is not smart enough for easy 'grouping' like you used to be able to do with the activeX option buttons.

To get mutually exclusive check boxes, you need to do vba coding which is way harder than it should be.

The easiest way is to use a Dropdown Content Control instead which should be populated with the Yes/No options.

For yes/no options, I would prefer a pair of grouped radio buttons.

I do this sometimes, but note that Radio Buttons, like other ActiveX controls do not work on a Mac or other interfaces. They may not work in Windows unless macros are allowed to be used. (I am unsure on this point.)

Hi Guessed, kilroyscarnival & Charles Kenyon, thanks much for the assistance provided on this topic and also for providing added information to gain more insight into what I have been looking for. I deeply appreciate the support.

As mentioned above, I might go with the "Grouped Radio Button" for my requirement which seems to be the better fit for my need. Once again, thanks a lot for your valuable time.

Thanks,
