Default Restart footnote numbering - Word for Mac

I am in the final process of preparing my Master's thesis for publication. It looks like it's going to wind up being around 250 pages. The manuscript is in Word for Mac. My problem is that I can't figure out how to restart the footnote numbering at the beginning of each chapter. There are 534 total footnotes, and I don't want to start a chapter on footnote 156 (or whatever). I have seen tutorials for how to do this on the Windows-native version of word, but nothing for a Mac. Help!
