Hi everyone, I need help formatting 2 numbering in 1 line. Right now I can only include the number format but I would like to add a letter next to it as well. This is for me to type out math questions that includes multiple parts.
E.g 1. (a) < the (a) is not formatted and I can’t figure out a way to do it… |

If "1" and "a" are levels 1 and 2 in the same multilevel list, you can insert a LISTNUM field to include the "a" in the same text paragraph. Specifically, use { LISTNUM \L 2 } to insert a level 2 item. (Note that you can't insert the field delimiters, { }, by typing them from the keyboard. You need to use Ctrl+F9, or Ctrl+Fn+F9 on some keyboards.)
