Why is my text being condensed randomly despite the style?
I'm working in some Word documents with a project-specific template attached, and we're applying the styles from that template consistently.
But as I read and edit, I find that almost every paragraph using our *Body Text or *Bullet #1 Double styles has some condensed text in it, and quite often this results in words running together because the space between them has been condensed. The styles specify normal font spacing. I can select a block of three paragraphs, for instance, reapply *Body Style, and I can see several places where the font spacing widens back to normal. What could cause this random, unwanted condensing? I assume the global way to fix it is to Select All, then go to Font > Advanced > Spacing > Normal. Seems this shouldn't be necessary when the style is defined with normal spacing! Anyone dealing with this? |

How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum.
Both a screenshot and a sample file with the problem would help. |
