Default Filling in forms and Bullelted list

Hi,

I have a bulleted list in a document with a text form field. The idea with this is that you can password protect the document and then fill in some text in the text form field then hit Enter and a new line with a new bullet and text form field appears on the next line.

Under restricted editing i have checked the box that says allow filling in forms.

The problem is that this dosn't work on my computor, I write som text in the text field and hit enter and nothing happens but i if send the exact same document to a colleague it works fine there.

Any idea what is happening??

I have an attached file where I have tested this.

Your form works here also. However there is only one form field no matter how many lines of bullets are entered.
Personally I would use rich text content controls - see attached
Content controls do not require the form to be locked, but if you add editors to the controls, you can protect as read only and the form will work in the same manner.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer @gmayor. I have tried your version, that worked fine.
But I also have a couple of old documents that already have these kind of form fields. I prefer not change these documents. I would really like to know why it is just in my computor, is it some kind of setting I have changed somewhere?

Greg Maxey's Add-In will let you convert from legacy form fields to Content Controls. Content Control Tools by Greg Maxey I suspect that Graham has one that will do this as well.

Using the Group control protects text outside of Content Controls from being edited.
