Why can I not resize all of my text boxes in Word - The squares and circles are shaded
Why can I not resize all of my text boxes in Word - The squares and circles are shaded, not white.
Also, if I click in the box, I do not get the little square that shows up that gives me the layout options. It is in the entire document... and I have a text box on every one of the 226 pages!!! Even if I go to layout options at the top menu... I can use the height adjustment too... but dragging the the circles or squares is MUCH easier... especially with so many. Thanks!!! Bill |

Sample document with problem?
How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum. There is a recent bug in Word that removes the ability to resize using the mouse/trackpad. MS knows about it and it is likely that it will be fixed at some point. 1. It has to do with documents that are in "compatibility mode." If you change to the latest format, these tools work. 2. You can use the ribbon tools under the Format tab to make changes. |
