Can I remove all arabic letters and grammar from an English based document??
I have a word document, with many Arabic words
(e.g. عليه السلام, آخرة, عليه السلام , (مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ The document also has other Arabic words and phrases not listed in the example above. Is there a way for me to use Find and Replace to remove anything that is not English? I would still like to keep all other English punctuation (e.g. . , ! "" ^ * () {} [] : ; ~ 1 2 3 4... etc. etc.) but just remove all Arabic words and symbols. Is that possible? |

Maybe the Arabic words are using a particular font. If so, you can search for the font and replace with nothing. Just in case, test this on a copy of the document first.

Your title mentions removing grammar. I'm not sure what is intended. It may be that Stefan's response answers your question.
If not, you can select all the text and apply the appropriate proofing language setting. |
