Word count with AND without notes from multiple documents
Hello! I am completely new to VBA but want to compile the word count with notes, AND the word count without footnotes, of multiple documents. (In case that's not clear--I want to end up with one word count that is the sum of the body text and notes from all these documents, and another that is just the sum of the body text from these documents.)
The closest I've gotten to figuring out how to do this is trying to use the code from this post: https://www.msofficeforums.com/37775-post3.html However, when I run it, I get run-time error 5825, "Object has been deleted." I'm running Windows 10 and Office 2016. Thank you! |

As per my reply in that thread, move the line up two lines. The document was closed so it is no longer available for returning its Name.
