It is the only kind that my version of Word produces, going down from the top of the line rather than up from the bottom. Sometimes I get caught up in the jargon. I apologize. “Line Spacing.docx”, as I attached it yesterday, does use a Drop Cap for the first letter. It was inserted as such in Word 2007. See attached screen shot:

Then they have changed the MS definition of Drop Cap and I have learned something.
