I was able to apply restrict editing to sections of my document, however every time I open the document, the highlighting appears. I tried to uncheck the box in restrict editing and save it, but when I open it again the highlight appears.


Is there any way of removing this highlighting? We want to be able to send this to clients, but if we do they will see the highlighting.

If the highlighting you refer to is the next place a user can type, this depends on user settings. It is not saved with the document and you have no control over whether or not the user will see it.
