I want to know if space character ( ) has used after all dots, commas and semicolons (. , in a document or not; to fix them if wrong.
How can I do it?


For example have a look at below sample. all are correct, but one comma needs to have a space after it.

{Opened for signature in 1968, the treaty entered into force in 1970. As required by the text, after twenty-five years,NPT Parties met in May 1995 and agreed to extend the treaty indefinitely.}

Is it doable by using Wildcard? If so, how?

A wildcard search for "[,.;]{1}[! ]" would do it BUT...

This is not straightforward as there are plenty of cases where there shouldn't be a space after punctuation. For instance what about numbers or ends of paragraphs?
The number is 24.3 in English but in France it is 24,3.[end of paragraph mark]

What exactly is the purpose of the search? Are you planning on stepping through all the instances to evaluate each one individually?

Yes that is what I will do. I want to check all searched words one by one. Do you have another idea?

I would probably search for these characters followed by a letter eg "[,.;]{1}[a-zA-Z]"
