Make the tracking changes markups in document behave differently from Reviewing Pane?
Hi everyone,
Can I make the tracking changes markups in the actual text page behave differently from the ones in the reviewing pane (toolbar to the left). E.G. I would like the text to show all my corrections but the reviewing pane only the ones, which I commented. Is that even possible? |

On the Review Ribbon tab go to Show Markup > Balloons and try the different options there. Show only comments and formatting in Balloons should be what you are looking for.

As far as I know, you can't customize the Reviewing pane, which will always display all markup (revisions and comments).
As Andrew said, you can control what is shown in balloons. In addition, you can show revisions from a specific user, via Review > Show Markup > Specific People.
