Word Form - adding a field text count...
Hi
I have a very basic Word 2010 form, using various control fields in a table format - and saved as a standard .dotx I have a particular field that is a Rich Text Control and I would like, if it's possible, to add a word count for that field. So - is it possible to have a word count for a field that then gets displayed in the table, that auto-updates as they type? And is is possible (!) to do that in dotx or does it need to be macro-enabled? Finally - how can I see the field name? I cannot find it anywhere in the developer tab. many thanks! |

Jargon alert!
Field is different from Content Control You will not be able to do this without macros. You cannot control whether or not the user will allow macros to run. |
