You can insert a line break (Shift+Enter) into the heading. By default, the line break would display as a space in the table of contents.

Stefan's advice will work if everything is in the same style on different lines.
Otherwise, see TOC Tips and Tricks by Suzanne Barnhill, MVP. In particular, look at TOC Entries that don't appear in the document. |
