Default Third Page Is Blank How To Delete

Hi,

Using Microsoft 365.

My resume has 2 pages, but there is a 3rd page that is blank.
I've tried to highlight anything on the 3rd page in case there is something I am missing - but nothing is selected. No matter what I do, I cannot delete the 3rd page. Any ideas?

I turned on paragraph marks, there is 1 paragraph mark on page 3. I tried to delete it but no luck.

Thanks
-w

If your document extends to an extra page then it means there isn't enough room on the preceding page for the last content.

One of the formatting issues you might be encountering is that Word docs always have to end with a paragraph mark and a table will ALWAYS have a paragraph after it. You could look at tweaking the page setup to give yourself a touch more space on the page or reduce the size of the last paragraph so that it doesn't have space before or after assigned to it.

See Deleting “Blank” Pages by Suzanne Barnhill, MVP.
Most well-constructed resumes are in tables. Any table in Word must be followed by a paragraph mark below the table. That paragraph mark sometimes is the only thing on the blank page. You can select such a paragraph mark and change the font size to 1. Often, that will resolve the problem.

Thanks,

I removed a bit of spacing throughout the document, that resolved the problem.

Thanks,
