multilevel expand headings
Hi All.
I have created layered headers. Now when I open my Word file, all headers are expanded. I would like to only expand the first level when opening the file, and collapse the rest. How to do it? Thanks |

Headings, not headers. There is a difference.
What is the difference between headings and headers? |

As far as I know, you can't really "fine-tune" how Word expands/collapses headings with subordinate text paragraphs.
There is an option to prevent Word from collapsing headings (File > Options > Advanced: "Expand all headings when opening a document"), but it is installation-specific, not document-specific, so you get no control over what happens when someone else opens your document.
