One of MS Word's Many Grammatical Blind Spots
Why does MS Word's Grammar Check flag up the verb in following the sentence: "Lizzie unwrapped the parcel on her kitchen table." As an ex-English tutor, I cannot see for the life of me why the use of "unwrapped" in the above example is considered an instance of verbal confusion. Oddly enough, Grammar Check turns a blind eye to the verb "wrapped". Again, why? |

The Grammar checker is an imperfect tool. Even Grammarly makes mistakes. There is no substitute for a human proofreader.
This is not a Microsoft site. How do I give feedback on Microsoft Office? |

It's okay. I'm just letting off steam, that's all (I hope I've got this thread nicely "wrapped" up now).

Do post feedback for Microsoft, as Charles advised. :-)
