Accidentally replacing selected text
If I have a section of text selected, the next key I touch replaces the selected text.
What settings can I change so that this does not happen? Thank you. RobertWA |

Try: File > Options > Advanced > Uncheck ‘Typing replaces selected text’ > OK.

However, Moonshine's correct answer means you will always need to delete any text you want to replace.
Ctrl+Z is your friend. |
