font size printing problem
I am having a problem with font sizes printing out smaller than they should be.
I am using Word 2007 on a Vista 32-bit PC. My printer is an HP Deskjet F4480 with updated drivers. I have created Word documents, standard 8.5X11 size, in Times New Roman 12-point font. When I print them out, the font size is about 5 percent too small. (This can be seen by holding the page up to the screen with the original document.) This problem happens in test documents as well, so it is not a corrupt document. I have tried printing with both the "no scaling" and the scaling for 8.5X11 options. I did this both on the normal print option box, and in the advance printing option. Either way, the problem still happens. I suspect that the printer is at fault, and I have posted to HP's forum as well. But if anyone has ideas or suggestions, they would be welcome. |
