Red face TOC Woes

Hi friends - sorry for asking such a simple one....

I am trying to create a Table of contents based on a custom ParStyle called "BlahBlah".

I went to insert TOC, chose custom TOC, options, marked the ParStyle as 1, cleared all other style, and boom- nothing happens and Word inserts:

No table of contents entries found

What is goin' on......

Why a sample file is important for troubleshooting. How to do it.
How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum.

I assume you mean you marked the Paragraph Style named "BlahBlah" as level 1.
