Grouping styles
Hi friends!
I have certain styles (char as well as paragraph) that apply to different areas of text in my doc. Is there a way to group syles together in certain groups. i.e.: for My Text: styParagrah1 styChar1 for ancient text: styParagraph2 styChar2 styInteresting3 and so on. Thank You Susan |

There are two ways to group them, and then it depends on where you are looking at them. If you are talking about the [Quick] Styles Gallery, then by preference level. If you are talking about the Style Pane and display in alphabetical order, then by name.
See Managing Word Styles by Suzanne Barnhill, MVP Then, you could always use [Quick] Style Sets. |

There are a bunch of options for organising your styles. Try this link to give you some initial information to show some of the options
