I needed some small business card stock sized notes for a project. I thought that printing the rather than cursive would be more elegant. I found, what I thought was, a business card template from Staples. Not sure how I loaded it, but it showed one editable card with sample data, and the the balance of the 10-card sheet then displayed 9 blank business card spaces.
I deleted the data in the sample portion, expecting to be able to start there and create my notes. Instead I ended up with a grid that won't go away. ANY file I open with Word now has this as a background. Hopefully you can see the sample I'll upload. More hopefully, one of you will have the answer to my unplanned error. Thanks for listening. What you uploaded was a blank document.
Perhaps you are viewing gridlines. On the View tab... Thank you for attaching the file. Without it, I would have gone in a completely different direction.

That's exactly what it was. And now I remember checking that box. I thought I was going to see the business card grid, and ended up with that. Thank you. I really appreciate the response and the fix.
