Default Get Rid of Overprint

I have a document with an 'overprint' that usually would be in the background I think but here it is in the foreground and obscures what I write.

Can I do something about that?

The 'DRAFT' overprint is simply a rotated shape object positioned in front of the text. If you click on the 'A', for example, the rotation will change. You should then see a feint outline. If you click on that you can delete the object.

Ah... too easy. Thank you for that. Solves that problem. Not necessary but would be nice if we could also get rid of the 'DRAFT' thing even when it is not over the front of our input. Could that be done, too? It doesn't seem to be open to the same sort of treatment as the other.

edit:

Sorry - yes it is, if you fiddle around a bit...
well.... nearly every time...

You should be able to do that by clicking on any of them and deleting it. Unfortunately, they're not attached to the page header as would be done in Word itself, which means you'll have to delete them individually.
