One of my references is to J. J. C. Smart. In the source manager, his name is entered as "Smart, J. J. C.". However, in the bibliography, his name just shows as "Smart, J. J.", both for the APA 6th Edition that Word has by default, and also for a custom APA 7th Edition I have added. However, it shows correctly as "Smart, J. J. C." for Chicago and MLA. Why is this happening? I skimmed the APA Publication Manual and it doesn't seem to be a convention. Is there any way to fix this? |
