Default black triangle on the left side of the document


Hi everyone,

i have in a document many small black triangles on the left side of the text (see attachment Doc2.docx). How can i remove this. I appreciate every ideas.

You can revert to Word 2010 which did not have these.
They do not print and indicate an expanded heading level paragraph.
Click on one in an actual document. It will change direction to collapse.

(Your attached document has a screenshot of these, not the actual paragraphs.)

This is programmed at a fairly low level in Word and is not set to any options. These appear only when the paragraph has the focus.

You can save in legacy .doc format. Then this feature is disabled. So are many other features.
