Indent formatting template settings
Hello
I have several large files of specs comprised of data as shown below. Each one has different indent spacing. In an attempt to standardize the formatting a template was created. The task now is to bring these other files into line as simply as possible. I'd love some ideas. Thanks for reading! * TEMPLATE FORMAT EXAMPLE Code:
PART 1 - XYZ 1.1 TEST A. Test more tests. B. Second test. 1. Last test 2. Almost last test. PART 2 - EXAMPLE OVER Code:

Does your content have styles applied correctly? If so, you just have to apply changes to the style definitions. This can be as simple as refreshing the styles from the attached template.
If there are no styles applied then you may need a macro to apply the styles.

Indents in list numbering should be handled through the Define New MultiLevel List dialog. How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in Ribbon Versions of Word by Shauna Kelly
If these practices were followed, you may be able to use the Styles Organizer to copy. |
